讲座摘要：

In this seminar, we provide a property rights theory explanation for firm resource investment and discuss the link between property rights theory and the resource-based view. Leveraging the enactment of a property law, we show that strengthening property rights protection increases firms’ investment in both tangible and intangible resources. We also find evidence of an alignment between corporate financing approaches and attributes of resource investment, highlighting the importance of examining resource heterogeneity in property rights explanations for corporate investment.
